A beacon on the trail
A reliable, portable, go-anywhere tracking system is being used to ensure the safety of snowmobile trail groomers and others.
by Marie MilnerSnowmobiling always seemed the kind of sport to attract the daredevil, the thrill-seeker, the fearless—and Marie Milner has never once put herself in any of those categories. In the course of interviewing many sledders, though, Milner has learned a lot about the family-friendly and nature-loving activities that snowmobilers enjoy, and can more fully understand the appeal.
From the comfort of her cozy office, she can also vicariously enjoy the thrills.
While not a thrill-seeker herself, Marie Milner enjoys learning about the adventures of Canadian snowmobilers and sharing those with the readers of SnoRiders magazine. Riding on groomed trails and enjoying a winter cookout with friends, though, is an activity Milner fully appreciates.
