Jim Lamar from Kamloops, B.C., is an enthusiastic sledder with an appreciation for the B.C. terrain. From a young age, Lamar has been honing his skills and indulging in the first-rate territory that his province has to offer.

How long have you been sledding?

I have been sledding since I was about seven years old. I started on an old Olympic.

What type of terrain do you enjoy the most?

I love playing in the trees, boondocking and some hillclimbing.

What are your favourite sledding destinations?

I like to ride Crowfoot, Pukeashun and Grizzly—they are close to Kamloops.

Who do you enjoy sledding with?

Never solo, both with my friends and family, (and I) just got a sled for my wife.

What is your favourite machine to ride?

My trusty old 2008 M-8. It is an amazing sled.

Is there anything else you would like our readers to know?

I have a bunch of helmetcam videos on Vimeo.
