Trails enter the north and south ends of Yorkton, with two trails within city limits to provide access to gas, food and lodgings. The Yorkton Sno-Riders club maintains roughly 400 kilometres of trails in the area. There are numerous warm-up shelters along the trails and some even have indoor washrooms. The club works hard to provide warm-up shelters close to one another, so no one gets stranded.

Trail passes aren’t necessary, but snowmobiles need to be licensed.

Trail maps are available off of the Yorkton Sno-Riders club website or the Saskatchewan Snowmobile Association website, as well as at the Yorkton Chamber of Commerce.
