Drifters show and shine day in Saskatchewan

July 23/11 is Drifters Show and Shine day, please spread the word to any and all.

We will use the parking lot of the Saskatchewan Snowmobile Assoc. on Center St. Regina Beach. We ask that you give your best effort to arrive early to unload your sleds say by 9 a.m., we would like everyone set up by 11 a.m. If the lot fills we have access to the towns parking lot directly across the street. We hope to do some judging of the units that are on display, I think we could go with the following categories: Vintage, Vintage Racing and Best Overall Sled for the judging.

If you have pop-up tents I would suggest bringing them, as the weather could be hot (let’s hope) and bring your own lawn chairs.

If you know how many units you are bringing, please email me and I will do a bit of pre-organization on the lot.

If I can get volunteers to set up the Club BBQ we will have hot dogs and hamburgers for sale along with ice cold water and a table to sell SSA/Drifter 4 sled raffle tickets, if you wish to volunteer to cook or to sell ticket please contact me—without volunteers we won’t have the food or ticket sales. Please help out your club! If the weather is bad we will postpone until a later date.

As I said earlier please spread the word to all your vintage sled buddies and pass this along my email address is [email protected] or call 306-535-6208 if you don’t have e-mail I prefer e-mail or text the number.
