Valcourt, QC February 29, 2016 – BRP (TSX:DOO) Ski-Doo X-Team racers had a huge weekend collecting wins all across North America at the biggest events including the Iron Dog cross country race, ISOC and ECS snocross races and the RMSHA hillclimb circuit.
IRON DOG
Saturday Tyler Aklestad and Tyson Johnson won the renowned Iron Dog snowmobile race in record time, and gapped their competition by over 30 minutes. The race that combines speed and endurance over seven days was a big success for the Ski-Doo brand with 84% of Ski-Doo racers that started, finishing, and by claiming six of the top ten spots including third with Brad George and Robby Schachle. It also marked the third win in five years for Ski-Doo sleds. The top 10 Ski-Doo teams:

NATIONAL SNOCROSS
In snocross action Elias Ishoel continued his winning ways by taking both Pro Lite finals at the Mount Pleasant, Michigan ISOC National. Maxime Tallifer chased Isohel to second on the first night as the Ski-Doo drivers continue to battle the field for championship points. In the Pro Open class Adam Renheim and Tim Tremblay both hit the podium with second and third places finishes on Friday night, while Lincoln Lemieux brought home his best finish of the season on Saturday in second.

EAST COAST SNOCROSS
In East Coast Snocross, Danny Poirier seems to be unstoppable as he wins Sunday's Pro Open final. Fellow X-Teamers Mathieu Morin came in second and Jake DaSilva in 3rd.
RMSHA
On the RMSHA hillclimb circuit, Blaine Mathews took the Stock 800 and Stock 1000 class wins at the Afton, Wyoming event this weekend, giving him the lead after three events in the season points championship for both classes too. Trent Handsaker and Mark Thompson had strong showings too with multiple wins in the Pro Master and Senior classes.
