Here’s an early ‘70’s Ski-Doo T’NT I found perched on a hillside slope in a small ski town in the BC Mountain Interior.  Mingled in with clumps of tall grass and golden leaves, this classic sled looked like it was still ready to ride that very day.

Riders of these 1970’s era T’NT Ski-Doos reported they were a great snowmobile and maneuvered well on the trail. Ski Doo originally introduced the T’NT model in 1969 pretty much as a factory race sled. The T’NTs were produced up until 1978. Ski-Doo built tens of thousands of T’NTs snowmobiles. You can find them with everything under the hood from a 292 single cylinder to a 440 twin.

Ski-Doo produced the popular RVs and Blizzards around the same time period and these two models became the sledders choice in race-specific machines as time went on,  but the venerable Ski-Doo T’NT never lost its performance cache.

These old T’NT’s had a reputation for being workhorses as well as being tough as nails—and by-in-large reliable performers under even the most trying riding conditions.
