If you are longing for epic prairie terrain and endless trails in every direction, you deserve the chance to sled in Waskesiu.

Ride out to Candle Lake, via the Chris Can Trail, where you can stop at a cabin to meet other sledders, or carry on to a vast network of connected routes. Or, travel along the trail at the southern end of Prince Albert National Park, and visit the Sturgeon River Shelter. Elk Ridge and Timber Cove are other favourite spots to snowmobile in the nearby area.

Take a look through these images sent in by our Waskesiu readers, and you'll soon find yourself preparing for a memorable visit to this Saskatchewan sledding paradise.

Remember that for sledding in any part of Saskatchewan, you must register with the Saskatchewan Snowmobile Association. Your registration can be purchased at any SGI motor license issuer in the province.
