Tucker Hibbert will make his first appearance at Sweden’s Clash of Nations (CON) Super Snowcross event March 28-29. In only three years, CON has experienced tremendous growth, becoming one of the premier action sports events in Scandinavia. Over 70 of the world’s top snowcross and snowmobile freestyle athletes are expected to compete in the two-day event held at the prestigious Lugnet Arena in Falun.
This will mark Hibbert’s second career appearance in the snowmobile crazed country and his first event in the southern region. He first travelled to Sweden in 2010 to compete in the FIM Snowcross World Championship held in Mala. The American rider received a warm welcome and went on to win his first World Championship title.
Hibbert was scheduled to race at the 2012 CON but had to withdraw due to an injury suffered only days prior to the event. It is the only snowmobile race he has missed due to an injury in his 13 years as a professional athlete. He made a full recovery and currently holds the ISOC Pro Open Championship points lead in the U.S.

“It’s going to be awesome to go back to Sweden. I had to miss last year but was able to watch the races online. It looked like a big track so it should be fun. I’ve only heard really positive things about the event. I hope the race fans are as excited about racing at they were in Mala. The level of enthusiasm for snowmobiles and racing in Sweden is on a different level. I expect it to be the same in Falun. It’s always a unique experience traveling and racing overseas. I really like the challenge of it. Each year, I meet new people and get put into a situation I’ve never experienced. It’s fun to compete against guys that I don’t get to race with in the U.S. and to check out the different riding styles. There’s a lot of talent over there. It should be the perfect way to end my season!”
