In case you missed it….BRP’s Ski-Doo X-Team announced earlier this year that Scott Davis and Todd Palin will use Ski-Doo MX Z X sleds with E-TEC 600 H.O. engines when they pair up once again for the Iron Dog race. Both racers have won multiple times.
The Iron Dog Gold Rush Classic is an off-trail snowmobile race covering 3,200 kilometres (2,000 miles) across Alaska. Seven-time winner Davis and four-time winner Palin have five top three finishes in their eight years as a team.
“We want every advantage we can get,” said Davis, “and BRP’s Ski-Doo sleds have the best combination of speed, durability and handling that can win this race.”
“The Rotax E-TEC engines proved last year that they bring a clear fuel mileage advantage while delivering the power you need to run at the front,” added Palin.
“We’re proud to have Scott and Todd join BRP’s Ski-Doo X-Team,” said Yves Leduc, vice-president and general manager of BRP’s North America division. “The Iron Dog race is a gruelling event and Ski-Doo snowmobiles with these two talented riders make a great match.”
