Roller-Ski retractable ski wheel for snowmobiles

Crossing paved roads, riding up to a fuel station or even moving your snowmobile in and out of the garage can wear down the carbide runners in a hurry. Roller-Ski is a retractable wheel system you can install on your skis to protect them.

Offered by Qualipiéces, based in Drummondville, Quebec, the Roller-Ski system is designed to work on any of the Big 4 brand of snowmobiles, and it installs in less than 30 minutes.

Roller-Ski is lightweight and it comes with its own oil reservoir and self-lubricating spring to prevent it from rusting out or freezing. The system fastens to the snowmobile axle, which is designed to support the weight of the snowmobile, and not the ski itself.

But when you need it, Roller-Ski is easy to engage and it will automatically retract when you get back onto soft snow. And it’s a Canadian-made product.
