If you're travelling to Regina this winter, bring your sled and prepare for some prime Saskatchewan riding.

There are a number of trails in the area, and whether you're a seasoned rider or new to the sport, you are bound to find something to pique your interest.

For instance, try heading north to Regina Beach, where the trails are kept in shape by the local club, the Last Mountain Lake Drifters.

You can also head up to Lumsden, and pick up some supplies and fuel up before making your way to Craven, Bulyea and eventually the trail networks maintained by the Cupar Snowmobile Club.

Another popular sledding area is Fort Qu'Appelle, which has a host of trails groomed by the Calling Lake Cruisers.

If you're in the mood for a road trip, consider traveling to Green Water Lake Park, approximately 300 kilometres north of Regina. You will not mind the drive once you see the superior snow conditions, cosy cabins and more than 100 kilometres of top-quality snowmobile trails.
