Klim Allure parka

by Kirsten Armleder

As garment companies, like Klim, recognize that more women are entering the snowmobile scene, it is finally getting easier for us ladies to find gear that actually fits us and performs the way it should.

One of the first items to catch my eye for this season is Klim’s new Allure parka. Everything about this jacket—from the colour options and patterning to the hidden zipper hip expansion panel—says it was made for a woman’s body.

The parka features 3M Thinsulate and breathable Gore-Tex fabric to keep you warm and dry from the inside out. Other features include YKK zippers, a new quick-access sleeve pocket, rib cage ventilation ports, elbow articulation and a 300-gram fleece-lined collar. If you like to match, pair it with the 2014 Allure bib and you’ll be stylin’ this season.

If the Allure parka is anything like Klim’s Intrigue parka—which kept me warm, comfy and looking classy all last winter—it’s an item you should definitely have on your Christmas wish list.
