Arctic Cat 2012 Sno Pro 600 race sled unveiled

Arctic Cat is bringing professional racing quality to everyday riders with the 2012 Sno Pro 600. Riders can let the same performance that wins races take them over the toughest terrain with an all-new ProCross Race chassis and a 600R race engine featuring 40 mm Mikuni rack-style TM carbs.

Also new for 2012 is innovation in the suspension—front Arctic Race Suspension (ARS) with Fox Float X Evol Shox and all-new Race Slide Action rear suspension equipped with Fox Racing Shox mean a smooth ride and unsurpassed stability.

ARS brings a unique design advantage to the table with more distance between the upper and lower A-arms, reducing the loads on the chassis mounting points and making for a taller spindle and all-around stronger suspension.

Choose your sport with a 1.7 inch snocross track and five gallon fuel tank or a 1.25-inch Cobra two-ply cross country track and 12 gallon fuel tank.

“Racing has been a strong cornerstone of Arctic Cat’s heritage and brand,” said Brad Darling, GM Snow Division. “It’s our commitment to race the ProCross chassis and show the world that our consumers can buy the same snowmobile to conquer the world’s toughest terrain.”
