Toasty warm toes or soggy, wet prune feet—I’ll go with the former, please. With a 100 per cent seam-sealed inner lining, a highly water-resistant exterior and a temperature rating of -70C, the Renegade Boot by FXR Racing should keep your feet warm and dry this snowmobiling season.
Cool features of the Renegade Boot include the high-traction outsole and the boot’s three separate speed-lace system, which makes it easy to put on and take off. The craftsmen at FXR Racing must’ve been thinking about powder play when they were making the Renegade Boot, because they even put toe and heel kick protectors on it for cleaning snow and ice from running boards.
The boot comes in either a white or black version, and the difference between the two, other than the obvious, is the black one has a fur lining whereas the white boot comes with a brushed fleece lining as well as additional sole and upper stability inserts. Both versions cost the same but FXR Racing says the lining in the white version provides superior moisture-wicking properties and that the boot is made for more aggressive mountain riding and racing conditions.
