Arctiva’s new-for-2017 Meridian Glove is a fully insulated gauntlet-style snowmobile glove that is designed to resist bunching.

You’ll notice that the leather is stitched perpendicular to the finger where it meets up on the back. Same with the insulation inside. According to Arctiva, this allows for a greater pre-bend in the finger and relief from stitch seams on the inside of the finger. Less bunching means less finger fatigue, better circulation and more warmth.

Seventy per cent of the outer shell is made of leather and there is a built-in pocket on the back of the glove where you can store a hand pack if your hands are getting cold. If it’s the opposite, you can unzip the pocket to increase airflow.

Speaking of airflow, these gloves also feature a Hipora membrane liner that is both breathable and waterproof. Other features include a silicon goggle wiper and an adjustable wrist and cuff to keep out the snow and wind.
