Boasting a substantial network of well-marked trails that surpass 500 kilometres, Yorkton is one of Saskatchewan’s most coveted snowmobiling spots. The trails will take you through wide open fields and forests, and there are 12 warm-up shelters along the various routes.

The Yorkton Sno-Riders have worked with the City to establish designated snowmobile trails within city limits. This grants sledders the convenience of accessing fuel, food, accommodations and dealerships, all from the seat of a snowmobile.

Yorkton is also proud to be hosting the 2011 Easter Seals Snowarama in February. This annual event brings the community together for a day of winter fun. Proceeds will benefit Easter Seals Saskatchewan; last year’s event raised a whopping $114,581 for children with disabilities. For more information, call the Snowarama headquarters at 1-866-301-0031.
