"Sledding is quality family time," said Tim Lagace.

Tim Lagace was introduced to snowmobiling by a friend and has been hooked ever since. He started out riding a 1993 Yamaha Exciter SX, but his current ride is a powerful four-stroke 2013 Yamaha Nytro 162 with a 180 MPI kit installed, providing power for all of his mountain play. Lagace enjoys boondocking with his constant companions, wife Paula and son Zach.

“Zach has been with me since the age of six, and now in his 17th year outrides me,” said Lagace.

Lagace chooses his riding companions carefully, making plans with those he knows will have his back if needed. His idea of a perfect day of riding is watching his family play in three feet of powder on a bluebird day, knowing full well they are having the time of their lives.

In the Mackenzie area, Lagace enjoys riding Beaver Creek when it's time for "the boys" to have fun, while his favourite destination is Silversands for outings with his wife and son.

“Go out, have fun and be safe,” said Lagace. If you can ride with your family, more power to you. For me, sledding is quality family time that I will always cherish.”
