The International Snowmobile Manufacturers Association (ISMA) has released a 13-chapter video series on YouTube about snowmobiling and safety. The new Safe Riders! video series covers snowmobile safety and lifestyle issues. The chapters were created to support snowmobile safety instruction and information.

SnoRiders is happy to help the ISMA distribute this information far and wide. We are featuring a chapter each week over a 13-week period in an effort to further educate and inform our readers and, in this case, viewers.

Safe Riders! Chapter 2: Getting Started in Snowmobiling

Begin by determining riding opportunities in your area. Look at how you will ride and where. A great resource to contact is a local snowmobiling club. They will help educate you about gear and equipment needed. Visit a dealership to learn more about snowmobiles, ways to purchase, gear and servicing your machine. Remember to shop wisely and get out there and enjoy the snow.
