Iron sharpens iron, and that’s why Alberta’s toughest sledders are lining up to test their mettle during the Golden Triangle’s Iron Sledder Challenge. Snowmobilers who compete can participate in the three Golden Triangle events scheduled for 2023 in an effort to become Iron Sledder, and the $1,000 that comes with the distinction.

The 350-kilometre Golden Triangle Trail connects the Albertan communities of Whitecourt, Fox Creek and Swan Hills. This award-winning trail consists of varied terrain with warm-up shelters located throughout the trail system.

Iron Sledder Challenge Rally Dates:

February 18-19, 2023: Whitecourt Trailblazers Annual Family Snowmobile Rally

February 25, 2023: Swan Hills Snow-Goers Rally and ASA Jamboree

March 11, 2023: Fox Creek Northland Sno-Goers Rally
