Where can I get a trail pass and map for Swan River?

Sledding in Manitoba requires a SnoPass, but it's well worth the reasonable cost

If you seek long-running trails with prime terrain that will keep you entertained for your entire visit, you will enjoy sledding in Swan River and area.

In order to snowmobile in Manitoba, you must purchase a SnoPass from Snoman. By law, sledders here are required to display a SnoPass sticker on the valid off-road vehicle plate on their sled. Snoman (Snowmobilers of Manitoba) is a non-profit organization that supports local clubs throughout the province.

Perks of having a SnoPass:

  • You can ride all of Snoman's designated trails.
  • You can ride additional designated trails in Saskatchewan.
  • You will receive notices on safety and trail conditions
  • You will receive an official trail map for the season.

An annual Snopass costs $150. A seven-day Snopass costs $75.50.
