We were impressed by the quality of photos that were sent in this season for our monthly Hotshots contest. From the mountains of B.C. and the hills of Alberta to the forested trails and wide-open prairie of Saskatchewan and Manitoba, we got to see our readers ripping it up all across Western Canada. We were even lucky to see some photos from our northerly friends in Yukon.
It was a chance for you to brag, share riding experiences and for us to give away some great prizes.
The winners were as follows:
- October: Frans Romkes, Red Deer, Alberta (BRAAP 12 Bullseye DVD) and Doug Hogg, Cranbrook, B.C. (Thunderstruck 11 DVD)
- November: Michelle King, Warman, Saskatchewan (SuperGlides II Pro kit)
- December: Sue Thomas, Whitehorse, Yukon (SPOT Satellite GPS Messenger)
- January: Jim Lamar, Kamloops, B.C. (SPOT Satellite GPS Messenger)
- February: Candice Chernenkoff, Rivervale, B.C. (Scala Rider G4 Powerset from Cardo Systems Inc.)
- March: Louise Templeton, St. Georges, Manitoba (X-Glides)
- April: Ryan Alfred, Winnipeg, Manitoba (Scala Rider G4 Powerset from Cardo Systems Inc.)
We would like to thank our readers for all the great photos sent in this season! You are welcome to continue sending in your photos throughout the summer months. We’re changing up the theme a bit though—we’d like to see some shots with vintage sleds in them! Antiques, vintage racers or your first sled, let’s reminisce!
We’d also like to thank all of our sponsors for providing some excellent prizes this season.
