We had an exciting year last year as we started construction on a new shop to house our equipment last summer and it is now complete. We look forward to the use of this building for many years to come, and we must thank all our supporters and volunteers each year to have reached this goal.

The club had to move Ralph’s Den Shelter a mile or so north of where it was currently located due to landowner change of hands. Please, everyone, take the courtesy to respect the land as it is a privilege, not a right, to cross. Our club gratefully thanks all the farmers and landowners for the use of their land, for without them we wouldn’t have trails.

We attended the SSA annual meeting in June and one of our club’s families received the Volunteer Family of the Year Award. Congratulations to the Robinson Family—it was good to see that your family was recognized for your volunteer efforts.

Our 2020 Derby which is slated for February 1, 2020. Be sure to save the date as it is one of the best derbys in the province. We get repeat and new riders every year and we work hard to improve it every year as well.

Follow us on our Facebook page for updates and club events.

The Old Farmer’s Almanac predicts a snowy winter, so we are keeping our fingers crossed for a great year. Get your sleds ready.
