Brian Keyser of C3 Powersports gave us the inside scoop on his role with the company.

How are you involved with C3 PowerSports?

I have a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alberta. I was recruited to help with the design and study of various snowmobile components such as carbon fiber snowmobile chassis, belt drive conversion systems, engine modifications and control management along with suspension components and turbocharger kits.

How long have you been with the company?

I have been with C3 for the past year and previously worked out of Alberta.

What kind of products and/or services does the business offer?

We offer a variety of high performance snowmobile components including our own carbon fiber products such as chassis, hoods, side panels, air intakes and other lightweight custom sled parts. We have recently developed a new belt drive conversion and are taking deposits for our new lightweight water/methanol injection system for forced induction applications. Along with our high performance products, we also carry avalanche equipment as well as other retail products. We offer full mod shop services and can build your dream sled.

How long have you been sledding?

I am an avid snowmobiler and prior motocross racer with over ten years of riding, racing and testing experience. I usually go out on the weekends and snowmobile primarily around Sicamous and Revelstoke. Last year I did some hill climbing with the Krazy Canadian around the Nelson Area.

What is your favourite machine?

My favourite machine is one we built for a customer. It has a turbocharged Arctic Cat M8 motor mounted in our new carbon fiber XP chassis along with our carbon side panels and air intake. It weighs less than 400 lbs dry and has a custom built turbo and exhaust from APP/Boostwurx.

Is there anything else you would like our readers to know?

I have been involved with designing some really cool products that I find help out with everyday riding. For example, we built a Post Forward Kit for the Ski-Doo XPs which greatly improves steering and makes for a much more enjoyable ride. One of the latest developments that I have been involved with is the C3 SyncroDrive. It’s a bolt-on belt drive conversion that replaces the heavy stock chain drive on the Ski-Doo XPs.
