Snowmobilers will be in their glory when they see this massive sledding playground. With so many interconnected networks, you can ride directly from one community to another with ease.

Nipawin

The well-marked, immaculately groomed trails in Nipawin extend for more than 300 kilometres. Try heading out to Greenwater, Hudson Bay, Candle Lake and Little Bear, or cruise along the popular Trans-Canadian Snowmobile Trail. You can even take a half-hour drive out to Lake Tobin, where you will find rolling hills and easy riding with a view of the North Saskatchewan River.

Carrot River and Arborfield

These charming communities boast incredible snowmobile trails, which are maintained by the Pasquia Snow Goers Club Inc. In the area between Meadow Lake and Nipawin, you can find more than 3,000 kilometres of groomed trails. Carve up the deep powder, while taking in the boreal forest views, and stop at one of the snowmobile-friendly accommodations to warm up afterward.

Hudson Bay

Renowned for its family-friendly riding, Hudson Bay offers trails that appeal to all snowmobilers. There are plenty of routes taking sledders through forests and over hills; and you might even see some wildlife during your trip. Porcupine Forest, Pasquia Hills and Wildcat Hill Provincial Wilderness Park are some of the nearby favourite riding areas.

Porcupine Plain

Maintained by the Porcupine Trail Blasters, the terrain around Porcupine Plain is a treat for sledders. There are nearly 200 kilometres to explore from the seat of a snowmobile, and a number of improvements have been made in the past couple of years. Among the recent upgrades are some all-season cabins available for local outdoor recreation lovers.

Kelvington

The community of Kelvington is surrounded by snowmobiling spots, including the Lintlaw area and Greenwater Lake Provincial Park. The Kelvington Trail Blazers snowmobile club keeps the trails groomed and ready for sledders of all ages and experience levels.

Tisdale

Tisdale offers approximately 150 kilometres of trails and three warm-up shelters, not to mention some of the prettiest scenery in the region. While there are four main  trails, the connecting networks can take you all the way into Manitoba if you desire.

Melfort

The Melfort and District Trail Riders Inc. keep the trails groomed for sledders in this pleasant community, which is also known as the City of Northern Lights. Enjoy the open vistas and the classic Saskatchewan terrain you will find here.
