Ski-Doo teases the industry with glimpse at 2017 lineup

With a promise to revolutionize the snowmobile industry, Ski-Doo has riders everywhere buzzing with speculation.

Headlined with, "What's Next Is Coming" BRP's Ski-Doo division is teasing the snowmobile world with a single image of the new machine and promising to revolutionize the snowmobile industry. Yes, with a promise to share more information on February 22, 2016 BRP has released a single, silhouetted-image of Ski-Doo’s 2017 lineup—and as all good teaser campaigns are designed to do it has stirred up a tons of speculation on social media sites.

The official reveal is scheduled for Ski-Doo 2017 dealer meetings set for next Monday through Wednesday, Feb. 22-24, at the Hilton Anatole in Dallas, Texas. Evidently the 2017 Ski-Doo global product launch will be revealed at 7:30 that evening—February 22nd.

Here is what BRP is saying on their official Facebook page: "We never stop pushing to create the next big thing in snowmobiling. It's coming Feb 22 on Facebook and Feb 23 on ski-doo.com. Follow us to make sure you don't miss what's next. ‪#‎itswhatsnext#‎neverstoppushing"

And here are some of the hundreds of comments speculating on the new product release as posted on social media sites . . . 

  • "Xp chassis crossed with the xm xs chassis?"
  • "699 cc x package etec with a 146 "track."
  • "Something in the line of ZR 9000 Limited?"
  • "Do you need to win the lottery to mortgage one?"
  • "Better have a turbo in that 1200."

In this age of social media and digital cameras on every phone—maybe the most amazing thing might be if Ski-Doo can actually keep this new product launch secret and under wraps until February 22nd.
