The Top Secret Shop, located in Salmon Arm, B.C., isn’t a secret anymore. The shop family consists of the Mikus—Dave, Justin, Kyle and Brandon—and is now legendary for the top-quality snowmobile products and incredible attention to detail with each product they make. Each day is flat-out hair-straight-back for the Micku family, said Brandon Micku, with at least three of them dedicating time fielding endless phone calls and emails from eager customers.

“Customers come first with the Top Secret Shop (TSS) crew," said Brandon Micku.

It is not uncommon for him to work late into the evening making sure each customer has all questions answered.

Why does he do it? Passion, pure and simple. Passion for their products. Passion for the sport and passion for the people who carry the TSS line of products.

With turbo kits available for the Arctic Cat Proclimb, Polaris AXYS and Pro-RMK, Ski-Doo E-TEC and Yamaha Viper, TSS has its fair share of the market-boost enthusiasts. All kits come preassembled in-house to make a bolt-in install easy and less time consuming than turbo systems of earlier years. Consumers have choices depending upon how many pounds of boost they plan on running. The shop also stocks both non-intercooled models and intercooled models for those who want to crank the boost up.

Customer feedback is impressive. Dean Bala of Creston, B.C., raved about the TSS turbo on his 2014 Ski-Doo XM 163 with three-inch lugs.

“This sled runs super crisp," he said. "like a stock sled but with insane power. You never have to touch the controller, but you have the option to tune it if you’d like.”

Shedding weight and adding horsepower, the TSS cans are impressive. The race can will add an extra two horsepower and weighs only 4.5 pounds. This can sounds aggressive with a throaty grumble you notice immediately. There is a quieter version of this can which will maintain stock horsepower but weighs only nine pounds. This is a big weight savings over the stock suitcase-like exhaust that machines come with from the factory.

Boards come in a variety of colours with custom shades available upon request. These boards are strong, thick wall tubing and come pre-drilled with all traction cleats installed. The thicker walls mean less vibration and a stronger board. Resulting in epic snow elimination and traction, the TSS boards are top-notch for the aggressive backcountry rider.

Watch for the soon-to-be-released TSS bumpers, which also promise the same quality and attention to detail the Micku family is known for.
