SuperClamp II tie-down system

by Kirsten Armleder

Tie-down straps and bungees have become antiquated since Bowdriks Industries, which is based in Calgary, Alberta, released the SuperClamp and the SuperClamp Rear tie-down system. Those who already have been running SuperClamps on their truck deck or trailer needn’t be told how quick and easy it is to secure your sled with this system.

For the 2012-2013 sledding season, Bowdriks introduced a new and improved SuperClamp II system. Both the SuperClamp II front and rear have been upgraded from a level assisted chain linkage to a level assisted cam linkage with a dust cover to keep dirt and grime off the linkage. The company says the system is now maintenance free.
