Braaap 14 Uncharted film review

by Kirsten Armleder

If it’s deep, fluffy powder that gets you pumped, then Braaap 14 Uncharted is a backcountry snowmobiling film that you’ll definitely want to add to your collection. Never have we seen such ideal conditions from start to finish in a sledding movie—and never have we seen so much snow bike footage.

Braaap 14 Uncharted follows the evolution of the Timbersled Mountain Horse snow bike kit, highlighting its capabilities when placed in the hands of guys like Reagan Sieg and Brock Hoyer. All doubts of whether the Timbersled can handle deep powder and steep riding conditions are blown away.

On the sled side of things, this film provides a good mix of boondocking, cliff drops and fun, powder play. The pros, Sam Rogers and Colton Moore, even bring a little freestyle into the mix with their incredible stunt segments.

Even with the talking, which gets a little monotonous, Braaap 14 Uncharted is a solid sledding film accompanied by good music and lots of epic, slow-motion footage.

Also featured in the film are Jonny Buschmann, John Asta, Luke Kennedy, Rene St. Onge, NASCAR superstar Bill Elliot, Jerry Meek, Leif Hagen, Erik Vohk, Toby Till and Christian Gagnon. It runs 55 minutes long.

Braaap 14 Uncharted is available on iTunes, or you can go to the website and order it.
