With smartphones, helmet cameras and other electronic devices always on us, it’s easy these days to get good snowmobiling footage. The problem, though, is that most of our footage, even the epic stuff, goes unnoticed and unpublished. Well, here’s your chance get it out there.
The Whitecourt Trailblazers have launched a video contest to promote their upcoming event, the World Snowmobile Invasion (WSI) in Whitecourt, Alberta, on February 11 to 15, 2015.
The theme is We Do It In The Snow and the challenge for you is to develop a creative and original 30-second video to promote the WSI. It doesn’t have to be footage from Whitecourt—the WSI is, after all, an international event—but the video must include a verbal mention of or a logo for the 2015 World Snowmobile Invasion and/or the Whitecourt Trailblazers.
Downloadable logos and the full list of contest rules can be found on the WSI website.
If your video wins, it will be posted on the WSI website, as well as on the Whitecourt Trailblazers Facebook and Twitter pages, plus you will get some cool WSI merchandise.
The first winning video entry was submitted by Tyson Soch, a student from Hilltop Jr/Sr High School in Whitecourt, Alberta.
