July 2008 | Welcome to the SnoRiders eNewsletter
It may be the middle of summer but members of the Trailblazers’ Snowmobile Club in Whitecourt, Alberta, have been planning for their rally next February. With a snowmobile freestyle show in the mix, it could be the largest snowmobile jamboree in Canada—see the cover story for more information on this event. This month, we also spoke with Jeannie Brewer, who is the Canadian Council of Snowmobile Organizations’ outstanding snowmobiler of 2008. SnoRiders salutes her and the other award winners who were recognized at the International Snowmobile Congress last June.

Lake riding
Cranbook, B.C., resident Sheldon Kelly sent us this shot of his friend Tyler riding his sled across Gold Rush Lake in the Perry Creek area near Kelly’s hometown. The rest of the day was spent climbing chutes and enjoying spectacular spring sledding conditions.
