When it comes to snow biking, apparel companies have their work cut out for them. Not only do they need to create gear that is waterproof, windproof and breathable, it has to be able to withstand the heat and friction associated with snow biking. Therefore, only a few companies have attempted to make a snow bike-specific bib or pant—and Arctiva is one of them.

Arctiva’s Vibe Snowbike Pants are new for 2018 and according to the company, they were developed with feedback from Harris Huizenga, a two-time AMA snow bike main event winner and an X-Games athlete.

The pants feature a Sympatex three-layer nylon stretch chassis that is 100 per cent waterproof, windproof and breathable. Critical wear areas have Sympatex Cordura to resist abrasion and there are full-grain leather inseam overlays to protect the pants from heat generated by the exhaust header pipe.

“A double-layer waterproof seat combined with the leather inseam overlays also protect against the friction generated from sliding back and forth on the bike,” states Arctiva in a December 2017 press release.

Sizes ranges from 30 to 40. For more information, visit the website
