The annual Media Ride draws attention to the sport of snowmobiling

Whitecourt Trailblazers events

  • Annual VIP and Media Ride, January 30, 2013

The Annual VIP and Media Ride features local politicians, dignitaries, radio, TV and
newspaper personnel along with members of the Whitecourt Trailblazers Snowmobile
Club and the Alberta Snowmobile Association. The aim of the ride is to promote the
sport and introduce riders to the area’s trail system.

  • Annual Poker Rally, February 16 & 17, 2013

This family-friendly event draws between 500 and 1000 riders. There are great prizes
daily for top hands, prize draws and a sled raffle. First and last hands are picked at
the Community Centre.
