Thunderstruck 15 is a great all-arounder

The cover of Thunderstruck 15 is deceiving because at first glance, you think it’s 100 per cent about the high-horsepower big chute climbing—segments that Team Thunderstruck has always done best. Five minutes into the movie, though, and everything from jumps and drops to tree riding and deep powder stuff will be coming at you like a frozen tsunami of pure awesomeness.

Thunderstruck originals Randy Swenson, Trennis Baer and Mark Mesenbrink return to the stage with their ballsy uphill antics while new school riders, like Shad Simmons, Adam Onasch and Caleb Kesterke, toss backflips and big airs into the mix.

Technical riders will be delighted to see Linden Ladouceur back in action with not one, but two full segments in the movie. And she-shredders can cheer for Megan Render as she becomes the first woman to pull some of the gnarliest chutes in Revelstoke. Rhonda Down, Jess Lane, Kim Onasch and Kayli Dentman also show off their sledding prowess.

What about whoopsies? There’s plenty of them and some carnage too, which means Thunderstruck 15 showcases all aspects of the sport.
