Slednecks 18 features an all-star cast of riders

by Kirsten Armleder

It may be shorter in length than other sledding movies released this year, but Slednecks 18 is chock full of massive airs and insane cliff drops. For 54 minutes, your eyes will be glued to the screen, watching guys like Brett Turcotte and Kalle Johansson take snowmobiling to the next level.

There is a lot of jumping in this movie, but we also get to see what boondockers Chris Burandt and Dan Adams were up to last winter. Dave England throws freestyle into the mix and Brandon Micku takes on some gnarly chutes.

Slednecks 18 also marks the return of Cody Borchers. After spending five years recovering from injuries, the veteran film star and freestyler is back to killin' it as usual.

The music in this film doesn’t stray too far from Slednecks’ usual heavy metal score, but there is one segment that breaks from the norm to feature country artist Kris Kristofferson.

This sledding movie is 100 per cent family friendly. That being said, Slednecks 18 is probably best enjoyed with all your buddies, a few beers and a good sound system. It’s the world of extreme snowmobiling as seen through the eyes of some of the world’s craziest riders.
