Ski-Doo Tec+ snowmobile boot

by Kirsten Armleder

Brand loyal or not, you’ll want to check out the features in the new Ski-Doo Tec+ snowmobile boot before making a final decision on which boots to buy for this season.

Designed for active riders, the Tec+ boot comes with a moisture-wicking inner liner, an impact-resistant icebreaker toe piece, Kevlar-reinforced laces and 600 grams of Primaloft® Eco Footwear insulation. As far as comfort goes, the Tec+ boot features a narrower shape at the achilles and a cutaway rear collar to make the boot easier to walk in. Because Ski-Doo knows active riders are often hanging off the sides of their machines and jumping back and forth, the company added an impact-protecting foam in the tongue and shin area of the Tec+ boot.

Other features of the boot include removable foam inserts, honeycomb composite panels around the ankle for abrasion protection and a sole constructed of a specialized durometer rubber that grips slippery surfaces with ease.

For more information, go to the Ski-Doo online store or contact your local Ski-Doo dealership.
