Revelstoke Tunnel Bag from Giant Loop

by Kirsten Armleder

The Revelstoke Tunnel Bag is a new product from Giant Loop LLC, a motorcycle luggage company based in Bend, Oregon. According to the company, it is designed for hardcore mountain riders. Perhaps that is why they named it after one of our favourite riding destinations?

Knowing that mountain riders are super demanding on their gear, Giant Loop made the Revelstoke Tunnel Bag 100 per cent waterproof, as well as lightweight and durable. The bag is made with military-grade materials and it is backed by a lifetime limited warranty. Sized to carry just the essentials, the bag provides 24 litres of storage space for items such as a first-aid kit, thermal blanket and other emergency gear.

The bag comes with integrated mounting straps, and according to Giant Loop, it mounts well inside the width of the tunnel, which means there’s less of a chance of it getting snagged on a tree or getting in the way when the rider is sidehilling. Giant Loop also claims the bag is slim enough that it shouldn’t get in the way of the riders' boots when they’re swinging them over the seat of the snowmobile.

According to Giant Loop, the Revelstoke Tunnel Bag is part of the company’s new line of snowmobile products, which will be available this fall. In Canada, the new snow line will be distributed through Motonation Canada.
