Female sledders will be pleased to know that Divas SnowGear has added another product to its fashionable line of women's-specific riding gear—the Versa-Style Glove. This glove features 40-gram 3M Thinsulate insulation on the back of the hand and a Hipora® membrane that’s waterproof, windproof and breathable. It has an uninsulated palm, a durable four-way stretch Lycra shell and a moisture-wicking, anti-bacterial, non-slip lining.

Probably the coolest feature on the Versa-Style Glove is the E-smart fingertips on the pointer finger and thumb; this allows the wearer to operate touch-screen electronics without having to take the glove off.

The Versa-Style Glove was the brainchild of Divas SnowGear president Wendy Gavinski. Gavinski put the Versa-Style Glove through all the major tests this sledding season and she is pleased with the results.

In a February press release, she said, “The glove has just enough insulation for the morning trail ride to keep my hands warm and not too much for afternoon backcountry riding. The best thing about this glove is the grip without an insulated palm and finally having a moto style glove that actually is sized for a woman! Additionally, I can use my smartphone without removing the glove because of the E-smart fingertips.”

According to Gavinski, the new Versa-Style Glove will be available for purchase in the fall of 2013.
