Weighing in at only 1,180 grams or 2.6 pounds, the C2 Carbon Fibre Helmet is lighter than its predecessor by 60 grams. Although 60 grams doesn’t seem like much of a difference, any little bit helps when it comes to helmets. And you’ll certainly notice it if you’re upgrading from a helmet made of traditional materials. According to 509, safety wasn’t compromised in the making of this new helmet. The C2 is both DOT and ECE safety certified.
The C2 also comes with an all-new breath box, which, for the first time, can either be worn over your goggles or underneath them.
