2013 MotorFist Rekon Jacket and Big Mountain Jacket

by Kirsten Armleder

MotorFist gave its popular Rekon Jacket for men an all-new design for 2013. Completely waterproof, windproof and breathable, the Rekon Jacket comes with a long list of features—from exclusive 500D eVent panels and moisture-wicking fleece-lined sleeves to articulated elbows and fully taped waterproof seams.

Other features of the jacket include a waterproof powder skirt, an offset chin zipper with garage, YKK water-sealed zipper with garages, two-way armpit vent zippers, a fleece-lined neck, glove-engineered interchangeable zipper pulls, interior and exterior pockets and the list goes on.

According to MotorFist, the 2013 Rekon Jacket offers improved comfort and ease of movement over last year’s model. The company says it is loaded, tough, fully optioned and ready for the challenge.

Also new this year from MotorFist is the Big Mountain Jacket. This jacket has many of the same features as its big brother, the Rekon, except that it is lighter and more flexible for the wearer. MotorFist says the Big Mountain provides the active rider with a free-ride feel and weight without sacrificing performance. The Big Mountain Jacket is available in both men’s and women’s sizes, and it comes in red and black or black and grey colour patterns.
